Arduino.cc fully blocked in Russia

If someone were to write “Путин стоп ать два” while thinking in English, they might have meant “Putin, stop — take two,” as in “second take” (like in filming).

But in Russian, that still comes out as nonsense, because “два” (“two”) doesn’t carry that idiomatic meaning and “стоп ать” isn’t a valid verb form. It’s only interpretable as broken pseudo-Russian imitating English phrasing.

So what did you mean really and where are you from ?

Anyway - long story short - if Qualcomm extends its no business with Russia position to Arduino, it’s not because of closed source. Ignoring what happens in Ukraine and coming to that conclusion when it’s only this country is short sighted.

What will happen to the future of Arduino within the Qualcomm family is still to be seen of course but for the Arduino Q this was already discussed UNO Q and open source
