Arduino Due Board not showing in Tools menu --> Board Option

Hi,

After Purchasing the Arudino Due board, I am trying to connect the Arduino due Board first time using the
USB programming port into the PC. In the Device manager, the Arduino Due board is detected with
Com Port 6. But in the Tools menu--> Boards --> There is no Arduino Due board is showing.?? What could be the problem??

I am using Arduino IDE Version 1.8.9

I had attached the images for your reference. Kindly let us know what could be the problem of Arduino Due
board not showing in the Tools --> Boards menu.

Follow this path:

Tools>Board>Board Manager

Select Arduino Sam Boards(32-bit Cortex M3), select install one of the newest versions

What happens now ?

Hi,

worked for me. The driver needed for linux platform also.
