Hi, I wanted to report my problem with my L298N motor controller.
My circuit consists of an Arduino Uno, an external 6V power supply (4 AA 1.5V batteries) and a motor driver with the corresponding 4 motors, the problem is that I have repeatedly checked the connection between the power supply, but still the l298N driver makes a sound signal and the 4 connected motors do not rotate properly. A detail to consider is that when the Arduino Uno is connected to the computer, the driver does not work quite correctly, moving the motors in other directions. Can you help and add the code to check the rotation in one direction, because I have the code where in different sides, but I edit in one direction and nothing works.
That's not sufficient for the L298 motor driver dinosaur. Increase the voltage or (better) get a modern MOSFET motor driver.
it is possible to do it on L298N if I increase the voltage, I just want to add the HC-05 bluetooth module to this project?
Solve the motor issue before adding new things. That makes fault finding less difficult.
All the four motors worked well for me with 4xAA 1.5V Battery pack. Check your codes to comply with te following Truth Table:
Such batteries are not suited for power applications (motors...).
The required voltage depends on your motor's nominal voltage and current.
Maybe, but not with that battery. Use it in firealarms.
is it better not to risk it?
thank you, it worked, but in the code I set the speed to full, but it does not go very fast, is it because of the battery?
Measure battery voltage with running motors...
and the volatage arriving at the motors. The L293 can drop up to 4V from the battery voltage.
everything is fine, the speed satisfies me, can you help how to connect the HC-05 module to this scheme and the code for an example to control the machine and is there a normal application on IOS to control
The risk is that You'll get disappointed when it doesn't work like expected,
Yes! You need 9V or 12V Battery Back to obtain fast speed.
I understood it. If you can help with bluetooth, I will be very grateful
Do you want control the Motors from the Bluetooth of your Android Phone?
not from an iPhone
Does your iPhone contain a BT?
yes
