Hi all,
I am using a nano matter to run a modified demo code of „Matter color lightbulb example“ to control an LED stripe. I am using A0 to A2 to control three MOSFET which drive the LED stripe. Nano Matter is powered by 12 V through Vin. The Thread-Border-Router is provided by Apple HomePod mini which supports other Bridges (Merros) without any issues.
Everything works fine the first few hours. Suddenly the Apple Home App reports this device as not reachable. I have to switch the nano matter off and on again to get it connected again. I have done the following without any success:
- Decommissioning and commissioning
- Reload the sketch
- HomePod factory reset
- Swapped the nano matter board
- Checked the power supply for clean DC
- Powered the nano matter via USB-C without powering the LED Stipe
- Changed the position closer the router and HomePod
- Bring the HomePod on its latest version
Hardware revision is 1.0 as delivered. (Are there any way to update the firmware to its latest version - I couldn’t find any). IDE is running on version 2.3.6.
Is there a mechanism which set the nano matter in an idle state after some time of inactivity, so it may not be able to connect to the Thread-Border-Router again?
Any ideas what this could cause this unavailability?
Any hint would be really appreciated.
Many thanks in advance for your support.
Bernd
