It depends on the code or the wiring You dom't show.
It would be best to post an annotated schematic showing exactly how you have wired this. Be sure to show all connections, power, ground and power sources. Links to technical information on each of the hardware devices would also help. FYI I do not follow links to other projects that are being copied as almost always it is the same except! It is the "except" that many times is the problem.
How much use reciver voltage
The " Making a LONG DISTANCE 8-Channel and Digital Trim" is not your work or what was asked for. Without the needed information I will not waste my time on your problem, there are many others I can help in that time.

Easy, just answer my request. There are several possibilities depending on configuration and what you mean by receiver voltage.

Can you please post a copy of your circuit, a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?

What are you using as power supplies for the two controllers?
