Hi guys,
Could I seek some clarification on the input voltage on the Nano, from reading the Nano specification page
"The Arduino Nano can be powered via the Mini-B USB connection, 6-20V unregulated external power supply (pin 30), or 5V regulated external power supply (pin 27). The power source is automatically selected to the highest voltage source. "
"Input Voltage (recommended) 7-12 V
Input Voltage (limits) 6-20 V"
Am I correct in believing that I connect a 7v battery direct to pin 30 and the nano will step it down?
I looked on the forum and the advice seemed to conflict.
cheers
