Hi,I have a pro micro but its bricked and I cant put it into bootloader mode because my reset pin does nothing.When I short RST and GND power led just brighten up and nothing else.Please help.
How did that happen?

I used mmjoy for a project.Then I try go back to Arduino ıde but its bricked.I tried to burn bootloader but its not worked.
Did the Arduino still work when you stopped with the mmjoy project?
At least reset and RX TX leds was working.its been 3 or 4 months and now just power led works
Back when you were working on the mmjoy project, could you communicate between the computer and the Arduino? Could you upload sketches to it, and did it give output on the serial monitor etc.? And/or did it successfully function as a joystick controller?
it successfully function as a joystick controller.Before mmjoy I can use ide and upload sketches and worked just fine

If you connect it with USB to your computer, is the device still being detected in the device manager or not (assuming you use Windows)?
How was the Arduino stored in the past months; i.e. under what kind of conditions? Is there any sign of damage to the hardware?
İts not dedected.it was in my parts bin with encoders sws etc.I cant see any damage.I check for shortage but everyting is fine.
Well, that makes it difficult to track down what has happened. It might be a rare case of ESD damage.
Make sure that you're not using a charge-only cable.
