I was experimenting with my new uno r4 wifi that i bought a week ago, i tried the RCT, the WIFI with the arduino IOT app , the DAC,and even more, until i don't know why suddenly it disconnected from my laptop and then my laptop's USB (where the uno r4 was connected) didn't work , i tried to reset my laptop then it worked fine but until i plug the uno r4 again, the RA4M1 processor started to overheat, it was so hot, i mean it , then I unplug the USB and try to find whether there is any broken parts, but there wasn't . I try to upload simple sketch , it work but it was still overheating. I really don't know what to do (especially the board is expensive ) so i came to the forum for some help, I hope someone can help
It sucks when devices, even people, overheats for no reason.
Besides making fun of your topic, a week old Arduino should come with warranty. Contact the reseller and arrange for a swap.
Before you do, please tell us about how you are powering this device, what input voltage in what pin / socket and with what voltage?
So what was the last thing you were trying? It could be you generated an internal short circuit between two pins. Like trying to use A0 as both an analogue output and an analogue input.

Well i was powering it with the USB C port which is connected to my laptop's USB port.the final thing i was trying was the analogin pin( i was just want test the 14 bit ADC), what i did was ,i connect a MQ135 and a MQ3 and power both of it with a different power supply( i took a 9V battery and connect with a buck converter so i could get 5V) , then when i start testing it ,it was OK , then i try to add wifi capabilities using the arduino iot cloud app, when im done then it happened out of know where like after a few minutes
