I need your help. I have a project to create a "useless box" at a high school level (grade 10), which should play sounds when it hears a specific word. For example, if it hears "bonjour," it should play a particular piece of music. I wanted to know if this is possible, and I would like the words to be in French. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
Interesting project. Search for 'arduino voice recognition' and 'arduino music player' then pick the sketch that seems to be the best fir for you and then simply merge the two into one.

Can you program your smartphone do this? My point is: keep the "uselessbox" useless, with any changes just as "useless." Adding useful features makes it not a uselessbox.
