I'm trying to figure out whether the AtMega168PA and AtMega328P are pin-compatible in 32 MLF packages?
From the datasheet I have, I'm thinking yes.
Does anyone know for sure?

Figure 1-1 of the ATmega328 datasheet says that all devices in this group (48A/48PA/88A/88PA/168A/168PA/328/328P) have the same pinout, so I think you are safe.
