Hello everyone
I bought an boarduino and an AVR-ISP-MKII from olimex .
Currently I'm running OSX 10.10 on a Macbook Pro.
TO use the programmer with the Arduino IDE the manual of the programmer instructs you to upload a different firmware with the dfu-progammer:
this is what i get:

looks like the firmware got uploaded. The leds on the programmer are still off. When i pull out and reconnect the programmer, they light up green and red.
also the programmer gets recognized by the laptop:
So now I tried to upload the blink programm with the Arduino IDE 1.6.5 and this is the output:

as soon as I unplug the programmer I get this message:
avrdude: usbdev_send(): wrote -32 out of 2 bytes, err = Broken pipe
avrdude: stk500_send_mk2(): failed to send command to serial port
so somehow the programmer is recognized.
it says on the productpage that there are some problems with the 6.x.x versions of avrdude and an older version should be used. so i downloaded the Arduino IDE 1.0.5 and tried the upload the blink program while getting this result:
