BUILTIN_LED Always On

I have a Nodemcu esp8266 and I'm using webserver for a little app to control a servo.

I can get the LED to turn off using BUILTIN_LED, HIGH under Setup... But as soon as I send the servo a command, the LED comes back on and stays on.

I am new at this... I appreciate the help...

Which pin do you use to control your servo?

Thanks for the response!

I'm using D4

D4 is also the pin that the internal LED is connected to.

In the following picture (Fig-1), you can observe that the built-in LED1 is connected with DPin-D4 with which you have also connected the signal pin of your Servo.

If you don't want to the see the ON condition of LED1, then connect your Servo to any other DPin.

Well that worked like a charm!
Pretty easy!
I guess I need to study this board closer.
How did you know that the LED was on D4 and the second LED was on D0? I haven't figured out the different pin identifications yet.

Thanks for the help!
