Buttons to run applescript

Hi,

I have written a number of applescripts that automate streaming audio around my house from itunes to radio station streams etc.

I wanted to find an interface that would run the script at the press of a button and wondered if an arduino board would be the simplest route.

I was thinking of something that resembles a wall adaptor and uses button that light up when pressed (clipsal make these) as the interface with a ardunio sending the signal to the iMac

Any ideas if its possble or recommendations on the parts requires.

Thanks
Dave

There's an applescript proxy tool that will listen to a serial port, and send applescript commands:

And if you want to do more, Serialport X gives Applescript access to the, er, serial port and the Arduino on the end of it ...
