I cannot find any decent docs about using bluetooth with Esp32. All the examples just show how to echo data back and forth between one esp and a phone.
I want to pair three ESP32 systems and exchange requests to perform functions.
Where are all our experts??
Sorry not an expert, otherwise i would have the espressif GitHub memorized instead of bookmarked..
there does seem to be 2 good examples for you to look at..
SerialToSerialBT
SerialToSerialBTM
good luck.. ~q
How do you imagine those three systems "pairing"?
Clearly, hiding away from questions like this. You might trawl up some stuff on using BLE on ESP32 that will suit but, if you see a solution using classic Bluetooth, I suggest you don't believe it.
The simple introduction to Bluetooth will give you that information.
I beg to differ. They all demo with an android phone.
Telling me it cant be done is passing useless info unless it is backed up with an alternate suggestion.
Looked at and modified both. They are just one to one examples.
Using Bluetooth or BLE?
Please answer the question in post #3. I suspect you are simply fantasizing.
My wording may be wrong, but here goes.
Three systems A, B, C. System A tries to pair with system B and seperately with system C.
For each that are successful, the reverse attempt isnt needed. Essentially each sytem will try to pair with the other two. When all are successful, only three discrete connection exist.
That way A can send or receive to B or C. B can send or receive to A or C. C can send or receive to A or B.
Is that clearer?
Sounds like a fantasy to me. But have fun with the project!
Yes, and it is absolutely clear that you haven't the faintest idea of what you are doing, to the point where you don't even know what you are holding in your hand. But not to worry, once the fantasizing is over, you learn to count past two, and you condescend to answer the questions raised, you may eventually find the ESP32 well-capable of doing what you want, but not with classic Bluetooth.
Why answer with an obtuse set of useless words.
This is a technical hobby, so some of the terms may seem advanced to newcomers.
There are other hobbies.
No it isn't, telling you it can't be done is passing you a clear and irrefutible fact. Its usefulness depends entirely on you, but the presence or absence of an alternate suggestion has no bearing on it being a fact. It so happens that you were also offered one alternate suggestion in reply #4, but it it seems you are disinclined to heed it.
