Coding Nano V3, any suggestions?

What do you think?

Building a tool to detect EMF, like the paranormal tripwire tubes.

When detecting certain forms of emf the device it will go to red(high) and stay there, even when there’s no signal, this also happens if u touch the antenna, it won’t reset until another signal is detected, I’ve spent all day trying different things to fix this and nothing works, this is taking some figuring out.

My device has 6 leds, baseline led is Pink (always on) and the code tells the to go out when the device detects EMF.

Normally the baseline led will only return to standby mode when theres no EMF being detected.

Currently there's a 10Mohm resistor at the antenna and gnd.

The EMF scale is blue, green, yellow, orange and red (max) leds and the device is meant to act like a KII meter.

Any suggestions?

Drain the unterminated wire/antenna to GND between reads. The longer it takes to get a positive read, the weaker the EMF is for that length of wire.

The length of the wire will affect what frequencies affect it most. And TBH there's a lot more to it. Find tech books about antennas, get to know long time radio operators if you need guides.. it gets deep!

Are taking about electric fields, magnetic fields or both ?

Are you sure there's not a ghost nearby messing up the measurement?
