At least the index is usable. I wonder if it is not marked because of the way the sensor kind of floats within the case until you actually attach it to something? Have you made any changes to the dip switch inside yet? Had me kinda stumped for a minute or so until I realized there was tape over the switches. XDGood luck with it. I may have to get me another one of these encoders just to experiment with.

Yea I noticed the tape on the dip switch right away, but I can see the problem if you didn't.
Even though the sensor floats, it should always trigger at the same point. Its odd, but what ever. The more people that buy them and email the company about the location, the sooner they'll change it.
They are cheap enough that you could get a few just to play around with.
