connect arduino uno wifi r2 with firebase

hi everyone,

I am a little worried since for a project I must connect firebase with Arduino and I don't know how to do it.

I was searching the internet for ways to do it but I only see that I need the ESP8266, there is another way to do it since I only have the Arduino one wifi r2.
