Hello people and thank you for clicking this post , i am VERY new to this whole community and everything to do with it , i am very slowly learning things and have just began my journey . As the title says i am trying to have multiple vibration motors (6) to simply switch on/off , i am not sure if i need even an arduino for this but i feel like this community can help me as i have browsed many other forum posts. If anyone can guide me on how this can be accomplished it would be very much appreciated by me and many alike looking for this information , thank you.

You explained why you posted to the Arduino forum, but there is not much else to help with.
What are the power requirements for the motors?
What are you using to power the motors?
Do you want to turn each motor on/off individually, or all at the same time?
What are using to switch the power to the motors?
Do the motors have wires or solder terminals for the electrical connections?
Paul
Hey paul ,
Thanks for replying , in short i am looking to salvage the vibration motors from my PS3 controllers , The description for 1 is DC 5V 120mA , it has a black and red wire , im not sure if i am allowed to post links for you to see it . My idea up to now of powering it is through batteries however i am not sure if there is a better way? . I am looking to turn all motors on/off at the same time , a power switch would be used to turn the motors on/off. Hope this answers your questions , thank you.

Then wire all the red wires together and all the black wires together and go to the local hardware store and get the switch of your choice that will handle 1 Ampere. Wire the switch between the red wires and the + side of a 5 volt 1 Ampere battery or power supply, or wall wart. Connect all the black wires to the - side of the power.
And you are ready to go!
Paul
Thank you so much paul much appreciated!! :))
