Hi I would like to fully control this beast, with an arduino. The one I know, doesn't have to be controlled ea the brushless motor... It's to much a fuzz without an esc.
Anybody can point me out what the others are and how to control them, like the lens?
I'm pretty sure the big one is just a dc motor and that the one I'm starting with. The blue thing tough?
Do you know tutorials that could help me with this, please send them!!! The easier the better frankly.
What do you mean by "fully control"? Just turning a CD in the drive and moving the read/write head around a bit? Or do you want to actually read something from the CD? I'd guess for such a task the Arduino isn't powerful enough.
If you "just" want to do the former, please provide more information about the drive. How much money are you prepared to invest into that project?
Drive type unknown, scavenged out of an old computer, maybe I can find the case in the garbage...
Money maximum 25euro's, I've found out that their is an electro-magnet that moves, a dc geared motor, the brushless witch I don't want to mess with, the esc is to expensive and at last the "eye"...
motor control is easy. if you are experienced in designing these drives.
each motor has a motor controller. identify that circuit,
you will be able to connect your signals to that.
alternatively you can identify the circuit, determine the required actions, go out and buy the chips and make your own driver board, then throw away the driver circuit that was designed for that motor, and substitute the one you built. another option is to buy a generic motor driver for that type of motor, throw away the motor circuit that was designed for that motor, and substitute one that was not designed for it, but might be altered to make it work.

Kind regards
That CD-Mech. Isn out of an computer. It's from a Sony Headunit (car radio)
I'm afraid that using this, is a bit over your abilities, when you have no idea of what to do.
