D1 WiFi board and Arduino Uno

I wanted to connect the D1 WiFi board to the Arduino Uno is there a way to do it? The pic is attached, and then connecting the D1 WiFi board to thingspeak server ..

(Wemos) D1 is not a shield. It is a development board with esp8266 with pinout similar to Uno
