How are you everyone? Im working on a home project and the motor i decided to use is a 12V, 15RPM electric mini geared box DC motor. I need to use this with the arduino but I know you can't use a 12V motor with the arduino because its only 5V. I have been looking up ways to use this with the arduino and the easiest way was to us a L293D chip, how do you guys feel about this? I also need a simple code that would rotate the motor in one direction for 5 seconds and then turn off. How would I do this?
