DFPlayer Mini - Pins Tied to Ground

Hi all,

I'm using a DFPlayer Mini board to add sound effects to a small model train layout. I've used these before, but it's been a few years since I've done so. I seem to recall that as well as the GND pins, there was another pin that needed to be tied to GND in order for it to work properly with an Arduino. However, I haven't been able to find any mention of this online.

Is this something that needs to be done, or did I misremember this?

Just curious; is your project now working?

Possibly you were recalling that both pins 7 and 10 of the DFR player module are GND pins? Connecting either is sufficient.
