It could be me, but often I get confused when opening multiple sketches, often old versions of the same code which is confusing. I would like to see something like this. Example with colors. Not my intention to change the arduino brand styling.

That one is a bit different in that it only requests coloration to reflect the port selection, rather than always using a different color for each window.
In this case, I would expect that the sketch name displayed in the window title and primary editor tab would be sufficient to allow you to be able to differentiate them.
