DIY Battery pack parallel wiring and components

Hi, I am trying to build a custom battery pack with four 18650 cells connected in parallel - 4P1S (I need the extra capacity and plan to use a booster for voltage. They need to power at least two 300 W motors and other sensors, camera, mini servos, etc.

So I understand I do not need a balancer due to a parallel connection. But what other components do I need for the BMS?

I guess, I need a step-up booster (from 3.7 V of battery) and charge and temperature protection. Also, I wish to connect it to 2 solar panels as backup

With four 18650 cells? Very imaginative!

This 20 cell pack would work for one or maybe two 300 W motors, for a short while.

It would be a good idea to go over the basics of electrical circuit power and energy.

Power = Volts x Amperes = Watts (W)
Energy = Watts x hours = Watt-hours or Wh

A fully charged 18650 cell contains about 10 Wh of energy.

A 300 W motor (36 V consuming about 9 Amperes) running for 1 hour at full power requires 300 Wh of energy, or the total energy contained in about 30 fully charged 18650 cells.
