Driving a linear voice coil motor

Part of doing the filter was/is to do it. With the forum's help I did get filter and vibrating motor. It definitely was taking a power hit which is also something I did not know would happen.

I don't know why you are ignoring the advice to forget the filter and don't just PWM it .
You still haven't posted any motor driver details so obviously we still can't help you.
Why do you think that a vibrating motor means you are doing anything right ?. It means you are still doing everything wrong because it is not driving. A voice coil "hums " or "vibrates" doesn't tell us if it is doing what you bought it to do . Please clarify.
Try using words like "working correctly" or " not working correctly" .
A voice coil would hum with the right drive signal so it says nothing about whether is is "working correctly"
