Hey hi Zapho,

Thanks for your reply. Yes i will try that thing which you have told me and i think after this it will work. And yes as you told me about that current register, so what i am getting in that current register is, when i disconnect charger then it shows me negative value with all sign bit 1s and when i connect the charger to the device it gives me positive value with all sign bits 0s. I will tell you about the result, lets hope for the best.

Hi Zapho,
I have checked my circuit today as you told me that charger problem i.e. charger is not connected properly, but in my circuit it is connected properly. And i am getting current values -ve with all sign bits 1 when charger is not connected and current values +ve with all sign bits 0 when charger is connected. But still i am not getting those register values properly. So is there any other solution that do you have? or else i am missing anything else in my hardware or software point of view? what might be the possibility?

Hard to know - can you post a diagram of your circuit? I think that will be the easiest solution. The only other thing I can think of is that you've got a faulty IC.

I have tried my code on two different ICs but same result. I will crosscheck my circuit diagram with your circuit diagram and i will inform you about that, and i will attach my circuit diagram also after crosscheck. And you are right buddy it is very hard to know. I will tell you about further result.

Hi Zapho,
I have attached circuit diagram. I have just gone through ckt. diagram and compare both ckts. I have a little bit doubt that i want to ask you

  1. What is that OP1?
  2. Pin number 1 of ds2438 is connected to what? whether is it connected to common ground or battery -ve terminal?

In my circuit i am connecting pin number 1 of ds2438 to battery -ve terminal and hence i have shorted pin number 1 and 2. Reply me as soon as possible.

Hi Zapho,

Have you gone through my circuit diagram? Is that circuit diagram correct? Do i need to modify my circuit?
