No, on top of the track. The 90-degree bend is because you've chosen a different routing method. Just ripup that extra part of the track and try to ratsnest again.
Do you have a proper full-size mouse to use with Eagle.
I assume it would be horrible with a touchpad or basic laptop mouse.
Put it in ripup mode (ripup icon on the left, or right-click on the trace and left-click ripup).
Ripup as many trace sections as needed (leftclicking). Ctrl+z can be used to undo wrong moves.
Put it in route mode (route icon on the left, or right-click the air-wire and left-click route).
Click one end of the track. A "rubber band" trace appears.
While the trace is in this mode, go to the top bar and change bottom/top, trace width, and trace behaviour (angles). Right-clicking also change trace behaviour.

You assume wrong. I've been designing that since 2011, touchpad and 2 buttons.

Time to put a proper full-size 7-button wireless mouse on your Christmas list then.
Assuming now you still believe in the dude ofcourse.

Ok I got it. It was weird, just ripping up the trace and ratsnesting again would always leave the airwire there. So I deleted the vertical trace coming up from the IC and Resistor before the diagonal turn right, and then the trace from the jumper to the resistor also got deleted and then I got the trace tool and started drawing the trace again and somehow ended up with this:
Which looks much more logical because now it seems as if the jumper is actually "in-the-way" of the trace.

If you need to ripup everything, type ripup * and save the mouse clicks from unneeded wear.

I've done fine with standard 2 button mouse with scroll wheel (as 3rd button) that can be used to pan around project as well as zoom.
