I need a link to to an actual library for the ESP2866 can anyone help please

I'm not sure I understood correctly what you mean by this. Please provide a more detailed description of what you mean by this in a reply on this forum thread to help us to understand it.
If you are truly referring to libraries, there are thousands of them that do many different things. I could pick one at random to share with you, but I don't think that would be productive since there is little chance that random library will be useful to you.
Maybe you are actually referring to the boards platform (AKA "core") that adds support to Arduino IDE for the ESP8266-based boards? If so, that is not a library and using the term "library" when referring to it will only cause confusion.
