ESP32-CAM wont connect

I am trying to get my ESP32-Cam up and going. This is my first time ever using one of these. I have installed everything I believe I need. When I upload the program on my Arduino Uno or through a FTDI programmer (i think that is what its called), I keep getting the same message. I dont know if it means that Its just not connecting to my WIFI or something else. Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

Using the FTDI connected to the ESP32cam and using 5V to power the ESP32CAM. With the IDE open plug in the ESP32cam. Did the PC make a connection sound? Does the ESO32CAM show up as a port in the IDE? Did you select the port, open monitor, short the programing pins, press the reset button, does the screen display a message waiting for upload?

Did you try to upload a sketch, remove the programing pin short, and press the reset button?

Yes, I have done all of that. After it uploads and I open my serial monitor, what I posted is that shows up on there. I have double checked to make sure my wiring is right.

Did you follow the order I posted? Looks like you are opening the serial monitor after the good stuff has displayed. You should have the serial monitor open for the entire process. You should see the words ready for upload after pressing the rest button and putting the jumper in place, do you see those words of ready to upload?

post your code. If you have uploaded the ESP32CAM example a web address should show up so you can view the cam's things. From the looks of your posted boot information, your example code is not working. Post your well formatted code in code tags.

Sorry, I kept trying to send it the way you asked for it, but it kept saying that "akismet has temporarily hidden your post."

Maybe I just need a different camera. I have literally tried everything that i could. I have tried watching various videos and tutorials. That message that I got was on my Serial monitor, even after I would push the reset button and take out the GND and GI0 pins. So I have no clue what else to do. I do appreciate you trying to help me though.

Yes I did. When I tried it it kept saying " could not connect to AI thinker ESP-32" I also tried to cause the driver model board to see if that one would work and it did not.

This other video I just watched, i did exactly as he did, and the code I get on my serial monitor is almost exactly like his, mine just is not connecting to wifi for some reason. I am trying to connect it to my 2.4MHz signal and not the 5. So I am lost on what else to do.

this is the reason why I programmed autohotkey. Whenever I type "postcode" autohotkey removes this word "postcode" an replaces it with:

There is an automatic function for doing this in the Arduino-IDE
just three steps

  1. press Ctrl-T for autoformatting your code
  2. do a rightclick with the mouse and choose "copy for forum"
  3. paste clipboard into write-window of a posting

This is too less information to analyse anything.
when you compiled the code the Arduino-IDE wrote a lot of messaging while compiling.
If the compiler finishes with any kind of error there is a button copy error messages on the bottom right.

Click on that

"copy-error-messages-button"
to copy the all the text into your PC's clipboard
then change to the forum

Click on that button

To create a code-section. Make sure to not hit any key and not clicking anywhere
directly after clicking the code-tags-button

then press Ctrl-V to insert the clipboard-content

This will put all the compilermessages into a code-section to keep it small

Have you tried to use ESP32 WROVER Module. Tinkercam did not work for me.

And sharing these things would be a good idea.

And. Because this happens a lot, there should be a link that posts this information when ever this needs be explained. One of those buttons could be a how to post code link that paste all the info into the reply.
