hello
i'm trying to read data from Arduino uno WIFI rev2 to Excel using data streamer with no success.

  1. i can see the data on serial terminal , and it separate by comma.

  1. i closed the serial terminal .
  2. i configured data streamer in excel and even update it .
  3. connect it to the COM5 get the excel table format like i should .

5.set the same speed in Arduino and Excel ( 9600)

6. restart Arduino, Excel,PC .
7. tried it on Excel 2010 and Excel 365.
8. when i tried open serial port after data streamer connect to Excel , i get error message. same when i tried connect data streamer when serial terminal open in the IDE. for my understanding it's mean it recognized each other .
no data shogun in the Excel .
help !!!

that what i did ,and that why i did I choose this add-on Excel Data streamer . in all the example i find
it works . i looking for if someone faced this problem and how it was solved.

I don’t think you can have the IDE and excel using the same com port as excel at the same time .

When you switch off /on you need to check your Arduino is connected to the same com port as excel . I’m unsure that virtual com port is it , I would expect the same name as windows shows in device manager .
Plug/unplug your Arduino see if that changes .

I take it the excel add in loaded up ok .

I’ve never used this as my version of excel is too old , so I send to an SD card then import that file into excel.
