Fan with 3 black wires. Which is which ?

Hello!
I have recently bought a 120mm segotep fan to build a fume extractor. As I've seen online I only need 2 of the 3 wires but they are all black. One of them has white stripes on it but the other two are the same. Can anyone please tell me which is which ?

This is a question for the supplier or something you can find from the data sheet for the fan. If the supplier can't tell you they should not be selling fans.

The fans like that which I have seen have the wires terminate into a connector, either a 3 pin fan connector or a 4 pin MOLEX type. Do your wires terminate into a connector?

If its a ribbon cable the white stripe indicates position 1.

indeed it ends with a 3pin fan connector

i have sent them an email asking for a datasheet or simply telling me which wire is whichgh

If it is a standard 3 pin fan connector a Google of 3 pin fan connector pinout will lead to a few dozen hits and illustrations. Over thr years I have had several like that.
