Paul_KD7HB: Robin, I think he is writing about a "self winding" watch. I sure hope so: otherwise attaching a motor shaft to the tiny (mm order) shaft sticking out of a watch will be a hell of a job. If the task is really just to "shake" the watch, I'd go for a servo.
