Foolproof way to get wires in/out of relays (IOT carrier REV 1) ?

Anyone know how to get wiring in and out of the the relay ports reliably ?

Have one wire stuck that broke(didn't really need another reason to hate dupont connectors...), as they don't seem to want to release the wire in the way that they are supposed to. Hopefully the REV 2 isn't as bad as this setup. Trying to get this otherwise pretty solid board re-set up for this years growing season.

***never mind, this one is stuck beyond removal. External relays this year, looks like(or I'll desolder this one from the board and direct connect). The Rev2 has the connector's holes pointing straight up, with the release hole, behind the micro controller, which doesn't seem to be a much better design decision, as the release mechanism takes some force which will be harder to apply at the new angle. Seems they should have gone with an entirely different connector. These are a pain. I may use external relays for the new Rev2 as well.

Perhaps, by now, you realize no one has a clue about what you write about!

How did you determine that and what is your reference for the correct method?

Yep, missed what Carrier/shield it was. Thanks for pointing it out.

Wow, I didn’t notice I did and immediately became defensive with a snarky return comment because in general, I don’t find this a friendly or helpful forum for most people.
