Hi, Dose anyone have recommendations for a foot operated potentiometer input for Arduino? I though this would be an easy one but there a bit more to it seems,
Ive marked down some possibilities I fond on Ebay,
1, sowing machine pedals, from what I can see there all 220v, would they work over 5volt? and how sensitive are POT's to cable resistance?
2, toy car accelerator pedals, they are 5v, they might have smooth speed control? they look like :shit..

3, make one but I real don't want to bother.
Try it! POT's to me means Plain Old Telephone. What kind of cable and what resistance?
Can you post some links to what you are talking about? Your descriptions are not exactly definitive and most sewing machine pedals are just switches not pots at all.
One other possibility you could look at is guitar expression pedals. Mostly they are nothing but a potentiometer, usually 5K or 10K, in a pedal. Voltage doesn't have a lot to do with it.
