Well clearly I looked on the internet.. The point of coming to this forum was because I couldn't find any working examples with my searches. None of them work. But thanks for nothing this is a great forum you guys got here.

Some people happen to use the Arduino IDE to program the ESP32, but the hardware is totally different.
