Hello,
To be upfront I have very little experience know what I am doing. No matter what I've tired (connecting to correct COM port, picking correct board, making sure sketchs are in correct file path) I continue to get this same error and I don't know why.
The attached picture "Capture 1" shows me running the "Blink" program while I have my Elegoo Mega connected to my computer using USB.
Not sure if this is all an issue of having the wrong version downloaded or if I'm missing a needed file.
Please let me know if you have any ideas what could be wrong.
Thank you!
Please don't post screenshots of (possible) errors. Your screenshot does not (seem to) show an error.
Please do not crosspost, rather give your other thread a kick. If you think that you posted the other thread in the wrong section, you can ask a moderator to move the thread (there is a link under your post)
Based on info your other thread, I've seen the "stuck in uploading" issue pop up at occasion on this forum. I'm not sure if it gets solved.
Which OS are you using? I can see it's Windows but which version?
Get rid of the Windows store version of the IDE in favour of a normal install; you can download it from https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Donate ( you don't have to donate
). The Windows store version is known to occasionally have strange issues and this might be one of them.
