Dear all.
I am trying to build project on GSM sheild to control Motor. I need guideline to purchase GSM sheild that can be used for VFD drive On-off state. Here i found some of the Shield avialble for UNo board.
But i not find schematic for it.
1)I need suggestion which one to purchase??
2) Where i can find schematic for Sheild
GSM/GPRS Shield - SIM900A
GSM/GPRS Shield - SIM900
GSM/GPRS Shield - SIM800
Arduino GSM Shield
The Sim900 and 900A are very similar, the main difference seems to be that the 900A is programmed for just certain Asian countires, the 900 being world wide.
The 900A can be reprogrammed with the 900 software if needed.
Not sure about the 800 model but just search SimComs site for details.
Same with the schematic, just google " Sim900 Shiled Schematic" and there are lots.

Where i can get SIM900 schematic
Since i located in INDIA . i think this suit my requirement. SIM900A being locked .

The sim900A should work for you in India, as that previous attached list shows.
You can upgrade a 900A as shown here, not recommeded if you only have one Sim module.
There are lots of Simcom documents, though this is the only hardware one I have seen for the actual Sim module.
General sim900 ardunio shield are found in a google search. "sim900 ardunio module schematic"

Just as a byline, if using a mobile phone to control a motor, assume you will be local, why not just use bluetooth ?

Do you mean the actual Sim chips or the Arduino Sim Shield ?
Sim chips - look on the SimCom site, they may give out that info.
Arduino Sim Shield - refer to the indivdual board makers site.

after testig with SIM900 & SIM900A i would like to replicate sheild with combined circuit board. I have been experiencly designed Arduino boards.
Now my intention is to integrate on common board eliminating unnecessary feature.
