Excellent idea, use binary for birthday candles then I only ever need 8!

I prefer my hex age to my decimal age.
67 dec = 43 hex
forget octal = 103
Although at times I feel like an octalgenarian (sic).

Never use octal in that case. 
I think most of us could get by with 7.
