Hi! i am trying to make my ultrasonic sensor to a midi controller. I'm totally new arduino or mi. Could anybody help me?
@lololododo, your topic has been moved to a more suitable location on the forum. Introductory Tutorials is for tutorials that e.g. you write, not for questions. Feel free to write a tutorial once you have solved your problem
- You will need to provide a bit more details; e.g. what needs to happen when the sensor detects a change? Change one? Change volume? Something else?
- Have you tried examples (from the web) to findout how your sensor works? If not, work on that.
- Have you tried to get midi working on your Arduino? If not, work on that. Again, find some examples on the web to get started.
- Once (2) and (3) are yes, you can start combining the (2) and (3) to achieve what you want to achieve.
I'm not famailiar with Midi so might not be able to help much further.
The HC-SR04 will measure distance in a range of about 3cm to 400cm. What do you want to do with that number? Send a MIDI note? Send a MIDI control, like pitch bend?
