I've had a Yun running on my wifi for sometime. Have just rebuilt my PC (Kubuntu 22.04) and have forgotten how to download data from the Yun SD card over wifi.
Any advice would be welcome

I have been running this code from a Kubuntu 22.04 pc:-
sshpass -p 'xxxxxxxx' scp root@192.168.1.138:/mnt/sda1/meter_E.txt /home/bill/Downloads/yundata.txt
Now I get this message:-
Unable to negotiate with 192.168.1.138 port 22: no matching host key type found. Their offer: ssh-rsa,ssh-dss
Any ideas would be appreciatd
Today's ssh clients disable the old rather insecure ciphers the Yun still uses. You can override that by using the following parameters:
-o HostKeyAlgorithms=+ssh-rsa
so your scp command looks like:
scp -o HostKeyAlgorithms=+ssh-rsa root@192.168.1.138:/mnt/sda1/meter_E.txt /home/bill/Downloads/yundata.txt
Well thank you so much. That works very well.
Is there a way to avoid providing the password each time?
Thanks again
Yes, you can configure your ssh key on the Yun and use ssh-agent to have that key available for connections.
