Hi I'm converting Apple PowerMac G5 case for my hackintosh setup, i want to reuse as much stuff as i can, i will be using original fans and speaker (for chime) this will be controlled by arduino.
The case was peppered with apples ambient temperature sensors based on DS1631Z chip, i would like to read them using arduino if possible, but i never used any sensors apart from the widely popular and supported by arduino out of the box.
I have researched the board a bit and the attached image is what i've found out so far.
The datasheet for the chip can be found here : DS1631Z pdf, DS1631Z Description, DS1631Z Datasheet, DS1631Z view ::: ALLDATASHEET :::
Is there a chance to read those sensors using arduino please ?
thanks
Seb

Sure. Check this forum posting: DS1631 - Interfacing - Arduino Forum.
