So you bought something without knowing how to use it?
Is that counter productive?
You're asking people to use their physic powers, I'm fresh out today and can only say the problem you have is somewhere either in the code or the schematic that you didn't post.

well kinda i had a rough idea of how it works and that it should do what i need it for but i just cant get it working...
kinda counterproductive because im racing a clock right now to finish my project and needed a sensor like this but it would be delivered to lato. so i decided to buy this one . and now i have no clue what to do.

Sounds like a work project. Tell your manager you are "all out".
There are probably several hundred working examples on the web. You follow one of those and when it doesn't work, you post a photo of what you've done and your sketch. Together, we'll figure out why it doesn't work.
That's how the process works here for 99.99% of the posts. Do you want to be in 0.01% category where we have to play twenty questions to figure out what you did wrong or do you want to do this the easy way?

Hi,
Can you post a copy of your circuit you tried on the CYN70?
Can you post a copy of the code you used to try to use with the CYN70?
What school level graduation are we talking about?
Thanks.. Tom...
