I brought an induvial addressable RGB strip light from Amazon. I wanted to know if I could control parts of the strip with a switch. If I click the switch, the first three lights will turn green, and the rest will stay red, and if I click the second switch, the next three will turn green, and the rest will be red. Has anyone done this before because I need serious help?
No, that's not possible. But you could connect the switches and the strip to an Arduino and upload some code to do that. Someone will have done something similar before, but not because you need serious help, they will have had some other reason for doing it and probably don't even know you.
I wanted to know if I could ...
Are you able to write a programm for an Arduino UNO?
Do you have an Arduino UNO avaiable?
What kind of strip do you have? - link the datasheet or at least the product you have bought

Do you have an Arduino UNO available?
If you don't, then don't buy a UNO. Buy a Nano - a cheap "clone" will do, with a "solderless breadboard" to use it with as you experiment, later you can solder it up with stripboard for a permanent and reliable version.
Or get one of these to go with it:

(and, that LED should have a current limit resistor with it)
I absolutely knew someone would mention that.
