How to control a single LED in a 8x8 Led Matrix

Hello Arduino-Community,
Im pretty new here and me and a friend of mine have build a 8x8 Bi colored LED Matrix. Here is a photo of this Matrix:
Now I’ve got the problem that i can’t control a single LED in a row(as you can see on my photo).
I’m using this code to control my Matrix:

Then you have a hardware problem. The only thing we know about your hardware is that you have 64 LEDs. Tell us more. Schematics, photos, etc.

We're using an Arduino-Mega(ATmega1280), bi colored LEDS 10mm with 3 pins, 16 shiftregisters 74HC595, 150 and 220 ohm resitances

That is just a hand full of parts we need to know how you have wired them up. Please show your schematic.

If you are not going to be serious don't bother asking.
That picture is rubbish. Can you see anything from it? I know I cant.
Please a schematic or forget it.

Do you mean something like this? (example: ), because we didn’t make such a schematic for our project.
If you only can help us/me with such a schematic we gonna create one.

So how could you possibly build anything without one? Let alone know if you had designed it and built it correctly. I can't do that and I have been at electronics for 45 years.

Just think about what sort of answer you are expecting from this board.

You expect to be pointed at where you have gone wrong but without knowing what you have done how can anyone tell this?
Are you expecting a reply like "oh you have the shift register latch connected to the wrong pin"? When you don't say what pin it is connected to.
