How to use a DS3231 on Arduino Edge Control?

I got the Arduino Edge Control board which does not have a built-in Real-Time Clock module that I can. The board relies on compilation date and time for real-time but I would like to use a DS3231 RTC instead but I don't how to interface the DS3231 with the Arduino Edge Control. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
