How to write to a 125 kHz RFID tag

I want to write a specific value a 125 kHz RFID tag. I have used an RDM6300 to read the value of the tag. I have also written to the tag using a commercially available reader. Can I write to the tag using the RMD6300 chip or is there any other chip which can be used for this task?

That depends on the tag. What type does it have (EMXXXX)?

It's a T5577

Although the product declares to be able to write to such tags it's documentation is so lousy that I didn't find any hint on how to actually write anything.
