Hox to restart Modbus-RTU after to much attempt

Hello,
I use the modbus-rtu interface to control a variable frequency drive. It works but when the drive is powered down (for example when an emergency stop is pressed) the link is broken and the OPTA tries about ten times to communicate with the drive then stops trying.
So if the link is broken for about 10 seconds (10 attempts with a 1 second timeout) and then the drive is powered up again, the OPTA does not re-establish the link.
Is it possible to configure the OPTA so that it does not stop trying without modifying the timeout or so that it restarts the link when the emergency stop is released?
Thanks
