I don't know if these are the correct parts for my ghostbusters proton pack

I'm new on the arduino and I don't know much about electric, so I don't know if the parts I selected are the right ones. I choose an arduino uno R3, a dfplayer mini, an MTS-101 switch to activate the proton pack (in the description it says that it supports AC125V/6A and 250V/3A), a protoboard to put the 5V and ground, a 1 meter roll of 144 WS2812b leds (I want to cut 4 individual leds for the cyclotron and about 15 for the powercell), 2 4ohm 3W speakers, and a PAM8403 amplifier. I also need to pick a powerbank but I don't which one to buy since I need something that outputs 5V. I also don't know if I need any capacitors or resistors (I probably need). Can someone please help me out and tell me if I choose the right things, if it's going to work, and if I need anything else?

The parts should be fine but yes, you will need some other components like resistors and maybe a capacitor or two. The DFplayer module will also need 3.3v though many will argue they can work on 5v but none of mine ever have. Also the DFPlayer will need at least a 1K resistor to go from the RX pin to the Arduino.

Please power everything from the external battery pack(s) and NOT from the Arduino itself, that is a great way to damage it.

As mentioned before, you will also need a way to step the 5v down to 3.3v, so you will need a step down buck convertor too, one that is rated for at least 1A current.

As for the audio amplifiers, you might need something more than 5v to drive them. The datasheet says it’s max voltage is 6v so the 5v should be good.

The first part to get is the book Arduino Cookbook and then the next is Electronics cookbook.

Not a good choice, but it can work. A classic Nano (atmega328) would have been easier to build with and more reliable and robust.

A 4x AA holder for NiMH rechargeable cells could work, if you have a charger for them. This will give a voltage of close to 5V. This could power the Uno through it's 5V pin. But don't use 4x non-rechargeable cells. That would give around 6V which is too high to connect to the 5V pin but too low to connect to the Vin pin.

I think I got most of it. It is kinda hard for me but not too hard. I think that the biggest problem is when I connect the power to everything, and I most certainly will need some help so I don't fry everything

Will you be able to draw a schematic or a wiring diagram, so you can show us how you will connect everything before you actually do connect everything. :fire:
