Hello. I live in Turkey. You may have heard about the earthquake disaster that took place in my country recently. According to the statements of experts, an Istanbul Earthquake of the same 7.2 magnitude is expected on average. That's why I planned an alarm that would at least wake me and my brother if we were caught asleep in a potential earthquake. I have modules with a voltage of 12 volts that can be activated in case of a lot of power cuts. Even if the electricity is cut off during the earthquake, the alarm will remain active. I will use one of Mpu6050 or Sw420 sensors with Arduino Nano. I want to be able to adjust the detection sensitivity of the sensor in the project with a potentiometer. When the sensor detects motion, it will activate two independent relays. The first relay will stay on for 1.5-2 seconds and activate the emergency lights. I want a potentiometer with which I can adjust the on time of the second relay between 5-60 seconds. In the second relay, a 12 volt 120 decibel siren-buzzer will be activated externally. I'm looking for friends to help with this. Thank you from now.
there are many tutorials on line
here is the first couple google hit
This tutorial shows you how to build a very sensitive seismometer, capable of detecting (large) earthquakes anywhere in the world, while running from batteries.
