I want to make wifi feature on arduino for a special project of mine

I am using arduino R3. and I am using arduino IDE 2.0.0-rc3. I use ESP8266 Economic Wifi Serial Transceiver Module for wifi. I have connected ESP8266 to arduino externally. and ESP8266 seems to be working. The red light is constantly on and sometimes the blue light flashes. I can see the name of ESP8266 in my phone's wifi network. but still, this is the first time I'm getting an electronic circuit. and I don't know what to do. After several failed attempts I found this site https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/imjeffparedes/add-wifi-to-arduino-uno-663b9e. I did as it shows step by step here, but it tells me to enter the application (TCP Client) and says it could not connect to me there. The serial monitor in the IDE says the same. but as i said i can connect to wifi from my phone.

I don't know where the documents are and I can't find them. As a last care, I ask you because it was very difficult for me.

why don't you get an ESP8266 or ESP32 and stop messing around with the UNO and ESP 01 (for which you might have voltage issues as it's a 3.3V device)

Are you saying that the order I set up is wrong?

you are missing the resistors @killzone_kid highlighted... they are not there just for the fun in the tutorial
